 Target Group

    Step 4: Choose your Target Group

Target Group 1:

Candidates under this group must currently be registered at a partner university for the complete duration of the mobility, and, in the case of undergraduate students, they must also have successfully completed at least one year of studies in their home institution by the time of application (see TG1 in the table below).

To see the list of EU partner universities for all EXPERTS projects, please go to EU Partners and for SSEA partner universities please go to Asian Partners. Please be aware that partner universities may vary according to the project. To see the list of Associate Partners, go to Associates.

Target Group 2:

Candidates must be graduates either from partner universities or any other university of the targeted countries (from any university in the EU or in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand; see TG2 in the table below).

Target Group 3:

Students in South and South-East Asia who belong to minority groups or are in particularily vulnerable situations can apply under this category. Poverty or a physical disability should be mentioned in your application, but does not automatically and necessarly qualify you as Target Group 3.

Some examples of TG3 status may include:

  • having a refugee status or being an asylum beneficiary (international or according to the national legislation of one of the European recipient countries);
  • being able to prove that you have been the object of unjustified expulsion from university due to racial, ethnic, religious or political grounds, or due to gender or sexual inclination;
  • belonging to an indigenous population targeted by a specific national policy or being an IDP (Internally Displaced Person).

Note: These tables display all possible mobilities supported by EXPERTS. Please be aware that the availability of these mobilities depends on the call-specific criteria (shown in the Eligibility section)
